Top 5 Navigation and Maps Apps on Android in Malta, Q3 2022

Throughout Q3 2022, the top navigation and maps applications on the Android platform in Malta demonstrated diverse trends in downloads and revenue. Here’s a closer look at the performance of these apps:

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic showed a consistent increase in weekly downloads, starting at around 149 and peaking at approximately 238 in mid-July. The app maintained a steady range between 160 to 234 downloads for the rest of the quarter.

TomTom GO Navigation experienced fluctuating weekly downloads, beginning the quarter with 184 and reaching a high of 229 downloads twice, once in mid-July and again at the end of August. Weekly revenue also varied, peaking at close to $98 in the last week of September.

GPS Navigation Globe Map 3D had an interesting trend in weekly revenue, starting at negligible amounts and peaking at around $13 in early August. Its downloads were more stable, with a slight dip in late August, before stabilizing around the 80-150 range towards the end of the quarter.

Yandex Maps and Navigator saw its weekly downloads vary, starting at 151 and experiencing a dip to 76 in late July, before recovering to around 130 by the end of September.

Google Earth displayed a relatively stable download pattern, beginning at 101 and maintaining a range of 90 to 147 throughout the quarter.
